Simple Stringing

We are going to see about stringing.Stringing is nothing but threading small beads in a string.Stringing material can be Thread, Fireline, Cord,Wire or Ribbons.I am going to show you how to do simple stringing so that no special tools are necessary.

Material Needed:
Any Beads(Crystals/Gemstones)
Fishline/Silamide/Wildfire
Beading Needle
Lobster Clasp
Closed Jumpring

Directions:
Cut 2 pieces of fireline measuring a yard each.Take one piece and string all the beads. In my projects I have used station beads to highlight my Jewelry.I have used approximately 144 Swarovski 4mm bicone crystals. For the station beads I have used the same 4mm beads but different color/shape.Take the other piece of fireline, thread to a needle and pass the fireline through the already strung strand. In one end, you can bring the fireline through the lobster clasp and pass it through few beads and tie a knot and again pass through few more beads and tie a knot.In the other end, pass the fireline through the closed jumpring and few beads, tie a knot and repeat this with few more beads.Trim the excess fireline.
I use 6lb 0.008" fireline.Fireline are available in different colors too.I prefer fireline than wildfire.

Without Clasp:
You can use approximately 250 beads of 4mm and string them through double string and tie a knot.Pass the remaining string through the beads and tie knot.Do it 2 or 3 times to secure it.You can put on  this Jewelry through your head.If you do increase the count of beads you can wrap in double strands around your neck and in that case it is good to add small clasp. This is a simple necklace without using any special tool.

This makes a good birthday gift or a special gift to someone. Most of all Handmade by You.

Chain nose plier is one among the important tools of Jewelry. This tool has a flat area and the area should be smooth and not textured. Suede Charm Bracelet

This is a simple bracelet and hope you will enjoy.I love to work with Suede they are so fun to work and not pricy too.I had a charm with two holes and thought the braided type will go well this. When you buy suede,it will come in few meters and is wound in a card. When you unwind the suede you can see the fold.I did a warm iron one time and it worked for me.Next time when I iron ,I burnt the suede so please be careful .

Cut 3 pieces of  8 Inches suede.Select one suede piece  and string the charm to the center.

Take the other two suede pieces and place it one on each side of the charm piece. With holding the charm and the suede pieces braid the half of the portion from the charm. Then braid the other half from the other side of the charm.Place the 3 ends of suede pieces and place it in the cord end, squeeze the ends and apply glue to the suede and also to the cord end.Trim the excess suede at the ends.

Add the jumprings to both the ends and in one end add the lobster clasp. The bracelet should dry before use.

Now,the bracelet is ready. This measurement will give a finished bracelet of 7.5Inches(approx).

You can do the same bracelet with hanging charms.when you braid you can add the charms according to the number and position you want.

If you try this project, don't forget to share with us.Thank You!

Round Nose Pliers

Round nose pliers are a must have for Jewelry making. Round nose pliers are essential
for wire wrapping, looping headpins and much more.
You can make Earwire,Headpins,Wirework, swirl type charms etc.,

https://www.etsy.com/listing/101058287/sapphire-ball-earring
In this piece I have used round nose plier to make my earwires, headpin loops(that connect my crystal ball to the earwire) and also the swirl charm that is hanging from the headpin.

Brands:
Bead smith
Beadstrom
Lindstrom
Zambro
Beadalon
Tronex

Different Round Nose pliers:
1.Jewelers Pliers Round Nose
Round nose pliers are essential for wire wrapping, looping headpins, wirework, etc.,
2.Pliers 3 Step Roundnose And Hollow
The top jaw of this tool has 3 sizes to create a wide range of loop sizes. The concave
lower jaw helps form rings and curves in your wire.
3.Pliers 3 Step Roundnose And Flat
4.Pliers 3 Step Roundnose Looping Pliers
This three stage round nose plier aids in crafting precise loops in varying sizes!
5.Pliers Round Nose With Cutter
6.Pocket Pliers Round Nose Pliers
7.Pliers Round Nose Double Nylon Jaw

Not all round pliers are same.If you buy a chaep one the tip will be wide and you cannot make fine loop.So go for the better product.I love Beadsmith products as both cost and quality are good.

Simple Stretch Bracelet

This is a Super Easy project for Beginners. You can stack this bracelets to your Taste. You can mix and match colors.Kids can also be encouraged to do their stretch bracelet. This is a great idea for kids party.

Materials needed:
Beads
Strech Magic Elastic Cord
GS Hypo Cement(Glue)

You can do with any beads, right from plastic beads, glass pearls, acrylic beads, glass beads and also gemstone beads. The hole of the bead should be atleast 1mm.Some genuine gemstones cannot be used, as the holes are real small.I have used glass pearls for the above project. It takes 30/32 beads of size 6mm glass pearls for 6.5 Inches wrist measurement. You can purchase your beads at stores like Michaels,Jo-ann or any bead store you know. The strech magic elastic comes in different diameters.

Method:
1.Cut the Elastic cord adding extra 2 Inches to your wrist size.
2.Arrange your beads in a pattern you like.
3.String the beads to the Elastic cord.
4.Finish the bracelet with the double overhand knot.
5.Glue it with Hypo cement to secure the knot.
6.Let it dry for few hours before ready to use.

                                                         Double Overhand Knot
(Make a loop and go through it twice)
Ideas: Add charms or spacers to make it even more attractive.
This is really a fun project to do and also you will enjoy wearing new bracelets everyday.
If you have any questions do let me know.

Enjoy making your Stretchy Bracelets.
